My son has a Canon EOS 400D SLR camera. He got the 18-55mm lens with it. He was recently on a camping trip and has come back without the cap for the lens. I am worried the lens with get scratched if we don't buy a new cap. Although we've looked in quite a few shops, we can't find any. Any there any online shops that would sell them?

Thank you.

A camera with a telephoto lens of focal length 125mm is used to take a photograph of a plant that is 1.8m tall and located 5.0m from the lens.

1)what must be the distance between the lens and the camera film for a sharply focused image?

2)how tall is the image?

I want to upgrade my Minolta Dynax SLR to a DSLR. I notice the resale values of SLR's are understandably tiny so I want to know either if the lenses have any value, or whether I can reuse them on a new DSLR. They are both Zoom Xi lenses with Autofocus

Okay, I know basically nothing about SLRs and I really, really have wanted one for a long time now. Can someone please tell me about the Nikon D80? I also want a fisheye lens, but I don't know much about that either. Do I have to get a certain kind for the Nikon D80?

Also, around how much would the SLR and the fisheye lens cost together?

I have a Canon SD450 and when I take night shots, I sometimes get these blurred spots on my pictures. It looks like dust got into my camera through the small crevices and through the retractable lens and is only noticeable while taking night shots. Day shots I guess there's enough light to drown out the dust. The dust is not on the external lens...I've cleaned it with a dust cloth and it's spotless but the spots still appear. Is there a way to blow/suck out the dust from the internal side of the lens?

I have a range of lenses and filters and stuff but would like the usefulness of digital. Along with the above question; is it worth it? Will I be putting good money after bad? Would it just be better to start building up a digital camera from scratch? Any websites that I can buy these things from?

Printing your photos - Digital printing options, doing it yourself, costs, colour correction, in-store photo printing machines (kiosks), photographic stores, online printing services, professional photo labs, choosing your printer, home mini-printers, ink tanks, ink cartidges, photo paper, information online, preparing your images, getting your images to your printer, getting the right colour, calibrating your monitor, setting up your printer

Shooting with your camera - Scene modes (22 different examples), sharpness adjustment, contrast (tone) adjustment, colour (saturation) adjustment, custom adjustment, white balance, colour FX, face recognition mode, mountain (infinity) mode, manual focus, LCD focus check, single shot mode, continuous AF mode, image stabiliser, IS panning mode, zoom (optical and digital), ISO settings (includes using ISO to control shutter and aperture), metering modes (spot, centre-weighted, matrix), exposure compensation, flash output compensation, red-eye reduction, fill-in flash, flash synchronisation, self-timer, noise reduction, movies, sound comment

In my view the first section is the most important part of the book because mastering these creative tools and techniques will give you a solid foundation on which to improve your technical skills as you progress; without them you'll just end up, at best, in a "technically-expert, boring photographer" dead-end, and at worse you'll get so disappointed with your shots you'll give up in disgus

The truth is (although many pros wouldn't like to admit it) that for the vast majority of purposes professional photographs are used for today , a so-called "amateur" camera, even a compact, could produce a perfectly useable image (the main drawback would be its inability to use professional flash lighting

Plus, if you order my “ Take Better Digital Photos ” ebook now, you can take advantage of my immediate download feature to begin reading and start improving your photos using the book's expert advice and comprehensive information in just minutes!

So to sum it all up , inside " Take Better Digital Photos " you get a photographic toolbox of creative tools and techniques which you can put to work immediately to improve your digital image
