i'm trying to find a telephoto lens for my nikon n6006. does it have to have a certain number or are all nikkor lenses compatible with nikon cameras?

I'm going to be taking a photography class in September, but its a ALL film class, so all need a film camera...and I just found a Canon EOS Rebel GII 35mm SLR for a 0, what I am asking is this a good camera for the money? I shoot with a Canon and WILL NOT CHANG, I'm going to be a Canon man for life. Anyhow have any of you worked with this camera? if so what did you think? Mostly what I need the film camera for is becuse all be working with a darkroom in this class.

Also heres my photography...

my camera turns on and the lens does come out. however when i zoom in to take a picture it turns off? anybody know how to fix this without going to a repair shop? i have a family event tonight i was hoping to take pictures at.. thanks in advance

I have a new Nikon Digital DX40 SLR camera and I am wondering if a Pentax 70-200 zoom lens will fit?

thanks so much

I want to use my old 24mm and 85mm and 135 lenses to their full potential, but if I put them on a K10 etc, where the image sensor is smaller than 35mm then I only get the middle bit of the lens...

My dad's regular SLR is a Pentax, and he has the regular 18-50 mm lens that came with it and also a Tamron 50-200 mm lens that's compatible with the Pentax. My question is can these lenses be used with any Pentax digital SLR, or would I have to buy a certain model?

Thanks.

a full list of compatible lenses would be nice if possible

I have the standard 18-55mm, 55-200mm VR and a 50mm 1.8D - all Nikon lenses. If I buy a film camera for a photography class, can I use these lenses?

Keep in mind I cant spend ,000 for a lens. I just want to take some nice quality fireworks photos. Will I need a flash of some type or anything additional for this to work?

also, can I use Nikon lens from a manual slr on a nikon digital slr?

I own a 35mm Canon Rebel. I am looking on ebay at a few Canon lenses and wanted to know if I could use them on my Rebel. I don't mind if they are manual, I just want to make sure I can use them.

First of all, what lens designations do I need to look for to make sure I can use the lens with a 35mm Rebel?

Second, will the lenses for an AE-1 Program fit my Rebel?

Third, will a Canon 35mm Camera Lens 200mm 1:35 work with my Rebel?

Thanks for any help.
The 200mm lens is a manual lens. I am not sure how old it is.

Will the 200mm manual lens work on the AE-1 Program?

I am using a Canon Digital SLR camera, but am definitely open to getting a Nikon later on. I already have an expensive Canon lens, but am open to getting a Nikon body, and a few lenses.

I'm trying to buy a SLR lens for my Nikon D80 camera. I am desiring a close up lens for shooting things like flowers, bugs, textures, coins ect... SMALL THINGS!

So do I want a Macro or a Micro?!!! Please explain. Thanks.

I have a Nikon D50 digital camera and just bought on line a digital accessory kit which includes a 52mm UV filter. This is useless for me, and I thought the filter was going to be a universal size, but it does not fit on the end of the lens. The lens is a 28-80mm, which is the one most commonly bundled with the D50 SLR, so i feel a bit foolish at having bought this.
I have read the answers posted so far and am still a bit confused--I am very new to this. The symbol on the lens for filter size has a 58 after it. The lens is a Nikon AF Nikkor 28-80mm 1:3.3-5.6 G, I had trouble finding this on the B&H site and felt a bit overhwelmed by the Nikonians boards.

My son is in football and I'd like to take some pictures of him on the field, but can't quite catch him when he is so far away. Is there a specific lens in mind that I can use for my canon digital rebel eos?

so im takin photography 1 in school and i need a 35mm film camera
I bouhgt one on eBay but it didnt come with a lens cap
grr
where can i buy one?
( i have a Nikon N80 35mm SLR fiml camera )
thank you[:

I've only JUST started photography. I'm a total beginner with a VERY old camera. what do settings, such as ISO, DEP, SF, M, Av, Tv, P and L mena?

I know the D40x ONLY can use the AF-S & AF-I lens. What about the D80, can it use more lens? I am looking the one can use most of the Nikon lens.

In case there is a good place that I may not be familiar with, please inform me.

I do not use ebay to sell, too many fees etc. I already have a listing on cragist list. I know about www.keh.com as well, but the prices they give you are ridiculously low.

Are there any forums that have a classifieds section perhaps? Or any other place like that where it is free to post what you have up for sale?

I am selling a nikon mount sigma 105mm macro lens.

If the old lenses are manual type, how does thius affect camera auto focus, metering etc. Can i actually use manual lenses on a Digital Camera.

So someone I know accidentally knocked some Coke onto my Nikon L2 last thanksgiving and as such left me with a sticky lens and shutter doors. There is a faint spot in the lcd but other than that everything seems to work fine. Would I ruin the lens if I cleaned it with a q-tip and some rubbing alcohol or do you have any suggestions on what to clean the sticky shutter doors with?

Thanks!
