If the 18-70mm lens is a DX lens the image circle will be too small to fully cover the 35mm film frame. A Nikon DX sensor measures 23.6mm x 15.8mm and the 35mm film frame measures 24mm x 36mm.
You can, however, use a Nikon DX lens on their D3, D3x and D700 full frame (same saize as the 35mm film frame) FX sensor cameras and the cameras will "crop" the smaller image circle of the DX lens so you’ll get an image the size of the DX sensor.

you can , its the standard Nikon D mount, you just wont be able to use auto fstop, you would have to adjust f stop and focus manually. you are better off getting D mount film lenses for electronic film cameras.

I have used the 13-24 mm lens on an old Nikon D65 with some really fun results. Of course as stated above, you will get some vignetting, but a rather famous art photographer used to shoot using a lens for a 4×5 view camera using 8×10 inch film … it made a 210 mm lens look like a fisheye shot
You can find some rather inexpensive N60 or N65 cameras with a standard zoom .. like under $150 on craigslist. Look in a city near you for such a camera … I got a N65 with 28-80 mm lens for my ex-wife for $50 and it had not hardly been used … the first roll of film was still in the camera.
While there are lenses made for the DX size sensors, all lenses are analog and came be used on any camera (with a few exceptions … the EF-S Canon lenses will damage the full frame bodies mirrors).
