I just bought a camera online. It is a Rokinon DC59 5.0 MP Digital Camera. Is a 5 mexapixel camera bad? It was . How do you think that is?

A 5 megapixel camera can be a fine camera. My daughter had a 5 MP super zoom that gave excellent 8X10 Photos and very acceptable 11X14s; however if Rokinon is the brand of your camera, I never heard of it. On that alone I wouldn’t buy it. I’d buy any Canon in your price range.

Mmm unknown brand I don’t know what glass it uses, the quality of CCD/CMOS used so.
5MPixel ought to be enough for many people. If you make snapshots of your pet and kids you don’t need a 15Mpixel DSLR.
Right I can only just if I see a picture made. But it is hard nowadays to find a terrible digital camera. By now even Kodak Digital has reached a point that they can make a decent picture. I am sure your camera is better then any Kodak Digital.
If one seeks a decent camera I do suggest to stick with the good known brands. No not Kodak because they suck I mean Nikon, Cannon, Fuji and Sony
