what do you look for when buying a film camera?
whats a good lens size?

thanks!

I have another camera/lens related question... Will the lens work on the Nikon D80?

Why must a camera lens be moved farther from the film to focus on a closer object?

I own a 35mm Canon Rebel. I am looking on ebay at a few Canon lenses and wanted to know if I could use them on my Rebel. I don't mind if they are manual, I just want to make sure I can use them.

First of all, what lens designations do I need to look for to make sure I can use the lens with a 35mm Rebel?

Second, will the lenses for an AE-1 Program fit my Rebel?

Third, will a Canon 35mm Camera Lens 200mm 1:35 work with my Rebel?

Thanks for any help.
The 200mm lens is a manual lens. I am not sure how old it is.

Will the 200mm manual lens work on the AE-1 Program?

Was looking to get a DSLR camera, I have an old SLR camera but wanted to upgrade to a SLR. Was wondering if the lens that I currently had would fit onto a new DSLR Canon Camera. It is a Canon lens....Canon FD 35-105mm 1: 3.5, link to the lens below:

Thanks

I have a Sigma auto-focus camera lens that had been used on a Minolta Maxxum 5000 SLR camera. The camera is now gone, but the lens remains. It is a 70mm - 210mm zoom lens with an F4 - F5.6 aperture. I don't want to go back to film, but that lens worked great. Are there any digital camera that it will fit?

I have a Canon A-1 camera body with lens. Can I get a digital camera body that will work with my Canon lens? Or do I have to go out and buy a digital body and (more) camera lens too?

I am doing AS photography and am saving up for a digital SLR camera, I do not have that much monney, and most of the cameras I have looked at are around £400, this is fine, but I am not sure what I should get, or should I buy the lens seperately, any suggestions on what camera/ lens i should get, and where i can buy them from, thankyou :)

What does the AF-S ED mean on a camera lens?
What does the G mean after the F2.8?
At the end of the lens it says IF-ED, whats that stand for?

I would like to know if I can use these camera lens in a digital SLR camera body?
Thanks.

Which camera lens would be a better investment?

a Minolta MD 50mm 1:2 at .00
or
a Minolta MD 50mm 1:1.7 at .50

and whats the difference between an MC and an MD?
also, its for a Minolta X-7A

If I use a Film Use pro Camera lens with a digital pro camera, will it work? My dad has a Nikon N2020 and I was wondering if we can just remove the really long lens of the camera and fit it onto a digital Pro. camera's body. The lens is pretty long and kindof expensive but now since digital cameras are here, I dont want to replace the lens. Any help please?

I am thinking of buying the Canon EOS Rebel XS SLR camera, while I have the "old" Canon film camera (AE1) with 3 camera lens: 50mm, medium zoom len and telephoto len.

Can I use these three old film camera lens with the new digital camera and, if so, what camera or len features I would lose, if any?

Thanks.
