We have a Canon EOS Rebel G film camera with a couple of Sigma lenses (normal and telephoto). We are looking at a digital SLR. I have seen good reviews for the Canon Digital Rebel xti and the Nikon D80. Will my old lenses work for these digital SLR's or will I have to buy new ones? Any recommendations?
I have a Canon EOS Digital Rebel with an 18-55 mm lens. I want to get a lens that will get me closer to the action for sports photos for example. I also will be using it for landscapes and other outdoor photos.
Canon EOS 5D Mark II digital camera with which lenses to combine?
Please give your view on this maybe with your relevant experience in using this camera. I bought the body and very excited in choosing the lenses now.
Please state, on the current market, the best possible lenses for canon/EOS 5DMARK II
Thanks!
I am currently a student in a photography class, and I need a camera that you can manually set the shutter speed and the lens opening. Does the Canon EOS Rebel TI 35mm SLR camera have the manual settings for the shutter speed and lens opening?
I purchased a Canon EOS Digital Rebel XSi and I want to go all out and buy ONE great lens. I want super mind-blowing macro and telephoto so I can get amazing photos of flowers and bugs and also things like the moon or other things that happen to be farther away. Is there such a lens?? If not, what would be the best macro and telephoto lens (separately)?
i have the canon EOS digital rebel.. with the stock lens. (58mm) where can i find a replacement lens cap
I bought a canon EOS digital rebel about 2 weeks ago, and yesterday i dropped it! The lens 45ed and i tried to straighten it but it popped right out! Now I have a lens in two pieces, nothing is actually snapped in half but the thing is useless when its in two.
Going to canon would be nearly as expensive as getting a new lens... if not more.

Hi there!
I currently have a Canon EOS 50 body, with the following lenses: 24-85mm Ultrasonic, EF 70-200mm 1:4 L USM. I also have a Canon Speedlite 540 EZ flash.
The set has only been used once hence in almost perfect condition (some tiny scratches on the base of the body). I intend to keep the lenses for use with a new DSLR which I'm contemplating on buying.
Would really appreciate advice from you pros out there on the following!
1) where should I sell my SLR? Ebay? A secondhand camera shop? (I'm based in Central London)
I have rung a couple of places today and the quotes I've received so far are not great... London Camera Exchange said they can only offer £50 as trade-in value if I sell it along with the 24-85mm! Another branch has said that they can't really offer cash value and if I buy a DSLR from them they will give me a 8GB memory card.
2) Which Canon DSLR should I get? I would really want to use my current lenses but have heard about compatibility issues etc. Ideally would love to get one that can take HD videos too. Budget is a concern (£1000 - 1200 tops)...
Please kindly shed some light?
Thanks!
xx
Okay, I was interested in buying this camera for my photography class, the Canon 35mm SLR Rebel TI, but my teacher told me I should get a camera with fixed lens instead of zoom lens. What cameras have those?
I meant Canon EOS Rebel TI 35mm SLR manul camera
I'm a beginner, I don't reallyknow the difference between fixed and zoom lens...please help!
I want to buy a zoom lens for my girlfriends Canon EOS digital SLR for her for Christmas (sorry not sure the exact model). I have no idea about cameras and I have about £80 (US5). Is there something out there I could buy?
I purchased the Canon EOS Digital Rebel XT 8 MP about a week before christmas and I'm SO in love with it.
I love the details of the picture, but I'm curious to know if they could become better in any way.
People have been telling me that lenses would make the quality better?
I would like the image to look sharper, crisper, better?
And I really wanna do some macros!
Do you have any tips on lens or any other accessories that would help my photos?
Thanks!
My camera is a Canon EOS 650 and I have a 35mm-80mm lens. I like to take scenic pictures mostly, but in the last few years I have gotten into portraits and I have shot three weddings. I really want to do this as a career, but I have severely limited funds to get a business started...not that I even know how to do that. I also am very interested in artistic photography and maybe even tasteful nudes. Is there anyone that can help me?

I'm looking for a wide-angle lens and a fish-eye lens of some sort for a Canon Rebel G. I'm not sure if they make real lenses for this thing or if this is just how they are for older cameras.
Are any of these decent?

I have a Canon EOS Elan 7 E Date 35mm SLR camera and I want to know if the Canon EF 50mm f/1.8 II would fit on my camera.
I currently have a Canon EOS Rebel 35mm SLR with a Canon zoom lense EF 80-200mm 1:4.5-5.6 II and a Canon 35-80mm lense. I want to get a DSLR and would LOVE to find one that would allow me to continue to use my current lenses. Would any Canon DSLR accept Canon SLR lenses or is this even possible?
I have a film Canon slr the eos rebel GII. I am thinking of buying the Canon EOS Rebel T1i and I want to know if my lens from the film camera will work on the digital camera?
I'd like to get into 35mm SLR photography again. It's been a couple of decades. I do have an early Canon EOS camera, but the accessories are still expensive because they can be used on the new digital ones.
I was thinking maybe picking up an Minolta AF camera and lenses, but I don't really know much about them.
What's a good brand and model that doesn't share components with a camera makers digital versions. I figure I can pick those up the cheapest.
does the canon ef 24-70 mm f/2.8l usm le work in the canon eos digital rebel xt ?? please help
I plan on buying a Canon EOS 450D and two lenses, a tripod and a camera bag. It's my first SLR so I figured I should get the equipment!
Is it safe to ship an SLR camera? Would there be any damage to the sensor and such?
So far,Amazon and B&H Photo seems like the best picks.
i am having Canon EOS 88 camera and a 75-300 non USM canon lens. I am planning to buy canon digital SLR. I wanna know can I use my current lens with new digital SLRs
I'd like to find a good quality digital SLR with detachable lenses. I think I'd like both a 28-80 AF zoom and a 75-300 AF zoom, but I'm open to other advice. I have about 0 total to spend on the camera and lenses. I've looked at the Canon EOS Rebel XTi, and that's the level camera I'm thinking about, but it looks like I might not get all I want for the 0 I have to spend. There are a lot of packages on eBay, but if you read the feedback, I don't see anyone on there I want to deal with. I'd like to have something with at least 8 megapixel. Does anyone have ideas or suggestions for me? Thanks!
I have a Canon Eos 300 35mm SLR with 2 zoom lenses. Both are EF lenses. Are the lenses compatible with the Digital 300D and 350D?
Thanks for any help.
