Is there a 3D lens attachment I can buy for my nikon d80 digital camera? January 20, 2010 | 06:29 am

Instead of having to take 2 photos side by side, i want a 3d attachment i can put on my SLR camera so i can take a photo in motion such as a flying bird, and then convert it to anaglyph on my pc. Is there anything available? Or just have to get an old vintage 3d 35mm camera?

Is there an adapter for Polaroid 600 film that lets you attach it to a 120 film camera? December 23, 2009 | 08:56 am

As an artist, I use a Polaroid 600 camera to take referance shots. The plastic lens simple camera just barely cuts it. I have a Yashica 2 1/4 x 2 1/4 double lens reflex camera that takes 120 film and a Graflex Nortia that takes the same. The format is almost the same size as Polaroid 600. I also have a couple of Nikon 35 mm's. Is there not an attachment that snaps onto the back, allowing me to take instant, high quality Polaroid 600 photos? Also, anyone know if they make Polaroid 600 film in Black and White?

What is the best lens for the Canon EOS Digital Rebel XT? December 18, 2009 | 06:43 pm

I purchased the Canon EOS Digital Rebel XT 8 MP about a week before christmas and I'm SO in love with it.
I love the details of the picture, but I'm curious to know if they could become better in any way.
People have been telling me that lenses would make the quality better?

I would like the image to look sharper, crisper, better?
And I really wanna do some macros!

Do you have any tips on lens or any other accessories that would help my photos?

Thanks!

What would the advantages be of using a Nikon f/2.8 17-85mm instead of 1.8 50mm digital camera SLR lens? November 19, 2009 | 06:29 am

What would the advantages be of using a f/2.8 17-85mm instead of 1.8 50mm digital camera SLR lens?
I know the costs are not even close, but is the only difference that the one will zoom and the other is fixed? I just want a nice lens I can use at weddings and for portraits without getting blurred photos.

How to fix Nikon Coolpix L6 digital camera lens? October 30, 2009 | 04:07 pm

My photos look really distorted, like the pixels in certain areas will be bright neon colors. If I fiddle with certain settings it's not as apparent but it's still there. I think this has something to do with the lens. Sometimes the camera will accidently turn on in the case but the lens won't be able to extend all the way because it's in there. How can I fix this?

What is a good digital camera for taking Alaskan wildlife photos? October 29, 2009 | 01:43 pm

We are looking to purchase a digital camera to use in taking photographs of wildlife on our Alaskan vacation this summer. We currently have point and shoot digital cameras but are thinking we should probably get a digital SLR with a telephoto lens. Ease of use would be helpful as we would be novices with this type of camera. Cost is not really an issue as we are looking at this as a once in a lifetime trip and want to make sure we have photos to preserve it. There is no specialty camera store anywhere near where we live so any advice would be appreciated. Thanks.

I want to buy a Nikon digital SLR? September 29, 2009 | 06:30 pm

Because I have a bunch of nikon lenses already. Some of them are old school. One is relatively new and works with 35mm slrs and DSLRs.

I'd like to get a new camera (Mainly because I have 0 credit at Best Buy), but the least expensive model that will still take good photos and work with my lenses. And I'd like to spend under 800.00

Suggestions??

got a 2x telephoto lens for digital slr camera, why is every thing is blury,? September 9, 2009 | 01:42 pm

i have a brand new nikon d60 and 2 vr lenses, it takes crystal clear photos, the 2x lens screws on the threads of the nikon vr lens so its a lens that you add on top of the regular lens, at no zoom every thing is a little blury, when i zoom in say to 200 mm with my 55-200 mm vr lens it is a total blury mess with the 2x lens added on .

the 2x lens is a zeikos 2.0x professional high definition telephoto lens

any help would be appreciated, im guessing either the lens is junk or these things just don't work well or possibly i got a defective one
that may be a little unclear, with out the 2x lens on it takes crystal clear photos, with the 2x lens on its a blurry mess..
it is more than just a focus issue, its a blurry haze and distortion here is a link to a photo i took with the lens attached.

I need to buy a digital camera that uses a telephoto lens. Any suggestions? August 16, 2009 | 04:11 am

It is a gift for my in-laws, so I want it to be a good piece of equipment that takes great photos, that doesn't necessarily break the bank. Please advise. Thank you in advance!
edit: yes, one with a big zoom, adjustable lens.
right now, their camera still uses film and they were talking about upgrading to a digital camera, but they wanted one with a telephoto lens because they think it takes a better picture...

What kind of lenses should I use for my Canon SLR camera? July 24, 2009 | 07:19 am

I have a Canon Rebel Ti which is a 35mm camera not a digital. It takes EF lenses. I am not much of an expert when it comes to photography. But I do understand a lot about it. I found these three lenses that I was considering buying and wanted to know what you think. If you have other suggestions, please post a link to the lens that you think is better. Also, who do you think makes the best cameras? Canon, Nikon, etc..... I also understand what aperture is but I don't know which aperture I should get for any of these. Keep in mind I take photos for all occassions like parties, well lit places, concerts where it is dark, etc....
