I have a Canon Digital Rebel XTi and I already have the Canon EF 50mm f/1.8 II which I love! But I want to have a wider variety of lenses to choose from and I'm sort of on a budget.
They don't neccesarily have to be made by Canon, as long as they fit on my camera and work nicely.
Thanks in advance for the help!
i have an old 10d and i was planning to give it to my brother. but when i acquired a kit lens 18-55mm.. it doesnt fit.. i dont want to buy another ef-s lens since it might not go in ..
so the thing is .. will the ef-s 17-85mm fit in a canon 10d.. or only ef mounts ( since i normally have L lenses which are ef ) and i just purchased a kit lens so that i could give it to my brother without burning my pockets for another lens..
thanks in advance
I am interested in buying a DSLR. I currently have a Nikon FE with a variety of lenses that I share with my dad. Will these lenses be compatible with a DSLR or will I need to buy all-new lenses? Thanks in advance for your help?
I'm quite new at photography and I will buy a 35mm SLR.(probably Canon Rebel K2). I really don't know about lenses and need to learn about them. For example what is the difference between a 28-80mm lens and a 50mm lens? and what do those numbers represent?
Thanks in advance for your help.
my camera turns on and the lens does come out. however when i zoom in to take a picture it turns off? anybody know how to fix this without going to a repair shop? i have a family event tonight i was hoping to take pictures at.. thanks in advance
I recently had the Canon Rebel XS (film camera- and for those of you who will say "Are you talking about the digital?" NO I AM NOT) but i need to replace it as it will soon have some shutter problems due to something on the inside. I LOOOOOOOOOOOOVE my 75-300mm SIgma lens, so will it be able to mount onto a Canon Ae2 film SLR? I'm not sure what type of lens mount it has. Also, is going from the REbel XS to the AE2 considered upgrading?
thanks in advance, 10 pts to best answer!!!
I'm getting an old nikon 35mm slr. It takes a nikon f mount and I'm confused if I can use todays f mount lenses or the old ones.
Thanks in advance!
I just bought a Nikon D40 which I'm very happy with it. I wan't to buy a wide angle and a telephoto lense and see some great deals on lenses on Ebay. I'm a little hesitant to buy them off of Ebay because I'm afraid they will be junk quality.
Here are some examples of what's out there:

I am by no means an expert in photography and would appreciate your input as to what to look for in a lens and what makes a good lens vs. a crap lens.
thanks in advance!
A pop up flash would be ideal. I really want one fast. I need one that has many lens opportunities. Where is the best place that I can find lenses for the particular camera you are telling me about? Thanks in advance all! =]
I have a DSLR camera (Olympus E-system model e410).
I want to mount on it a lens from an old SLR 35mm camera of mine (I have the proper 'OM to E- system' adapter).
The lens is a Zuiko/Olympus, 28mm f2.8. I am aware that, because of the four-thirds system, the lens in question becomes a 56mm and that focusing can only be done manually.
I would like to know what else I should be aware of in terms of f-stops, etc.
Thanks in advance, Matteo
Looking for some used Nikon lenses and maybe a used D3, D700 or similar and wondered if there are any sites that have classifieds on them? Thanks in advance.
Thanks in advance for the help. I've had a Nikon F75 film camera for some time and have recently purchased a Nikon D60. I'm curious to know if the lenses for both cameras have the same contacts and are inter-compatible. Any info is greatly appreciated!
Thanks again!
hi guys
I have a Nikon D60 and a 70-300mm tamron telemacro lens. I am looking for a larger zoom, say 500mm or higher, but they are all extremley expensive. I know that you can get extension tubes to increase the macro power of a lens, i was wondering if there was another cost effective way of accheiving this?
Many thanks in advance
Is there anything besides the Cinemac G35 that would be possible to use a 35mm SLR lens with a video camcorder for a great depth of field and macro effect? I have a 55-70 lens from my Canon Rebel that I would love to be able to use with my HV20.
Thanks in advance.
i have a nikon n55 film slr and i'm looking to buy a nikon d70 or d80. i have two lenses, one of which is a 70-200mm (af). both the n55 and d70/80 use a 'g' lens mount but i'm wondering if there are disadvantages to using a film lens on a digital camera. thanks in advance!
